On the road early today – need to see a lady in the middle of Gig Harbor with a drain problem. She said her sink backed up and nothing will go through the garbage disposal. I am sure she has some debris build-up in the trap portion of the drain line under the sink. Pipes and plumbing, plumbing and pipes, these two words go together and conjure up a visual picture of the pipes that run overhead in a basement and under the floor of an old home in Tacoma. Getting to the pipes is usually easy in a house like that where the pipes are mostly exposed making repairs or a re-pipe easy for our Tacoma plumbers.
Houses built with no basement are harder to replace the pipes, though a crawl space at least leaves most of the existing plumbing open and reachable. Tacoma houses do include slab or concrete foundations where the pipes are under the cement floor.
